Hola!
We had a really good week, we worked a lot and
had a lot of fun while doing it. My Spanish in the past few weeks has improved
a ton, at least my fluency because Elder Young will only speak in Spanish. One
of his goals is to forget English and he is definitely getting there. Super
funny when he tries to speak in English and he can´t haha.
We found a kid whose parents are members, less
actives, and wanted to baptize him and so we taught him and baptized him
yesterday. We made sure that he was prepared and he´s a pretty spiritual kid,
his name is Gabriel and the only person I´ve met in Argentina so far who has an
Xbox. He keeps trying to convince us to come over one night after we finish
working and play Gears of War with him and basically refuses to believe that we
can´t haha. We told him that the water was cold yesterday and he said, ¨¡Ni
importa! Me bautizo igual¨ Which means who cares! I´m getting baptized anyways
haha.
We´re working with a girl named Yesica right
now who is very prepared, ready to get baptized, but her mom doesn´t agree with
her decision. Even said that if God told her that her daughter needs to get
baptized in His Church, she wouldn´t do it because all of the family is
Catholic. So send some prayers that way if you would.
I think that is it, I love you all and am just
so grateful for the opportunity to be here. God loves every single one of His
children. Every single one of us is important to Him, seemingly insignificant
as we are. Keep being awesome
Love,
Elder Wardle
