Hello :)

Hope everyone is doing well in the Northern Hemisphere:) We are doing pretty good down here. Finding some new people, working with less actives, you know, the mission. We had zone conference and talked about how better to work with our bishops, so we talked with ours and he is so cool. Gave a talk yesterday about not doing things outside the orders of the Lord´s time, talked about little girls wearing makeup and kids using Facebook, really direct and powerful.

If we do things outside of the Lord´s time line it will only bring us sadness and misery, exactly what the adversary wants.

Anyways, Happy Birthday to Zac :) and Jax this week! Get ready for conference, it will be awesome! Love you guys!

GOD'S WAY = BEST WAY

Hola a todos :)

We´ve been having some great times here in GarĂn and some amazing things are happening in our zone.

So Sunday night we had an appointment with this super awesome family that live a little far from where we were, so we start walking to their house and get a little lost and we find ourselves in a very poor area FULL of paraguayos, that all they speak (to each other) is a language called gaurani and we are thinking, we are so dead, but then we ask someone how to get out, and he helps us, even if he was a little drunk, and we found our way out haha.

We are teaching a few new people, one of which is this guy that has his ice cream store across the street from us and he recently separated from his wife, and from what he told us it is a pretty difficult situation. Satan attacks the family so much, not just as the member families, that anything he can do to destroy them he will. God´s way is so much better, simpler, easier if we will just make the commitment, I know that EVERYTHING will truly be better in the end, it will always be worth it. I know that we are in the True Church, so share it!! Don´t be weird though, that doesn´t help anyone haha. Love you guys!

Hola a todos!!

We had a really solid week. On Wednesday we sent off Elder LeBaron with his bags packed and Elder Stewart started to get to know the area. We recently learned of a huge strike going on with the public school teachers. School was supposed to start a couple weeks ago but it still hasn´t and so the kids are enjoying a little more summer.

Also, on Friday all the buses stopped going because of safety issues for the drivers or something so we got stuck in another part of the zone and had to be creative to not waste a ton of money, so yeah, that was super fun haha.

Mostly looking into less active families to reactivate them and finding new investigators through them. Elder Stewart and I get along super well, I´m just a little frightened to know how long I´m going to be in this ward if they keep sending me missionaries that are finishing their missions haha.

Congratulations to Bostyn for her baptism this Saturday. And I love the picture of Zac with Fox, he has so much hair!!! Have a great week everybody!

Hey Everybody!

So I didn´t/couldn´t get transferred because Elder LeBaron leaves tomorrow but we did go pick up my new companion today. His name is Elder Stewart and we actually lived together when I first got here in Argentina about a year ago, oh and surprise surprise!! he leaves in six weeks, so that is two more transfers for me in Garin for a grand total of 7.5 months here haha, and I´m okay with that. It is quite a long time in one area but this is a pretty cool area, and I´m really excited to work with Elder Stewart.

We had the baptism of Tobias, a ten year old kid, on Sunday which was awesome. There´s still an issue with the electricity and water so we only had about a foot and a half of water so he had to lay down to get baptized. As he came out of the water he exclaimed, ¨Super!!¨ which just made everybody laugh. Elder LeBaron´s farewell was on Sunday which was cool. 3 of my companions leave tomorrow, so insane. We are so blessed to be in this work and the time truly does fly. This last week I completed a whole year in this country, and it is going by too fast, it makes me pretty sad. I love this work. Thank you all for being awesome.

HELLO!

Hey everybody!

So we had a pretty good week. Lately we have been struggling with finding new investigators to teach, which is a problem I think all missionaries have.  So we´ve been focusing on inviting EVERYONE to church and to listen to us and everything, not that we didn´t do it before, now we´re focusing on it, so we´re seeing some results from that.

The zone is killing it, showing us as always that it is never the area, but the missionaries in the area. If they are obedient and willing to work and go to the Lord, they will receive success because He wants more of His children in church.

Funny story, I had remembered Cody´s birthday last week, especially since it was my companion´s birthday yesterday, and so we celebrated Cody´s birthday hardcore down here in Argentina by eating no less than four cakes yesterday. Love you guys!
