Hey everybody!
An alright week, we are doing everything we can
it seems like to jumpstart the work here in Caballito and nothing seems to be
working. One of our biggest challenges is that the ward doesn´t really have in youth
to work with, and all the adults are busy so they can´t accompany us to
lessons.
My companion and I were talking this morning
about how we can better work with the members and we decided we are going to
start talking to all the members about who they home and visit teach and then
going to visit those less actives with the home/visiting teachers.
I realized in my studies this morning that Alma
had a ton of success by teaching the less actives. Also, the members, in
general I think, think that to give a reference to the missionaries the person
has to be golden. GIVE ALL YOUR FRIENDS´ CONTACT INFORMATION TO THE
MISSIONARIES!!! Hahaha.
But less in jest and more seriously, we never
know who will accept the Gospel. Sometimes the missionaries have to go to that
house to find somebody else that God is preparing. And if your friends get
offended, oh well, you aren´t going to have to apologize to them in the
eternities for never sharing the Gospel with them.
Hmm, I´m not sure if anything downright exciting
happened. Rebeca, the girl from the Dominican Republic who got baptized a month
ago, is doing awesome. Super active and should be getting a calling in the next
week.
Love you guys!
Elder Wardle
